Within project RECIPE, on 11th and 12th April of 2016 in The Radisson Blu Resort Hotel, Split, a two-day international scientific and professional conference on the protection of critical infrastructure was held.
The aim of the conference was the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practice between participating countries and the integration of the results of the national panel discussions and workshops which as earlier activities of the project RECIPE produced assessment of the current national legislation and national practices related to critical infrastructure protection, and has defined threats for critical infrastructure protection system.
The conference defined the conclusions essential for the follow-up strategy of project and its aims with an emphasis on public-private partnerships, challenges and mechanisms for exchange of sensitive information between the stakeholders in the system of critical infrastructure protection and the establishment of the preconditions for the development of national centers for critical infrastructure.
With renowned speakers - experts and scientists from Europe, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Serbia, Netherlands, Kingdom of Sweden, French Republic, Greece, Republic of Slovenia, Hungary, Republic of Finland and speakers from the European Commission, the conference was also attended by representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Republic of Macedonia.
